![]() ![]() Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the elf Cosmetics Putty Blush in the shade Turks And Caicos.Shop Target elf Putty Bronzer Shades, Claims I’m definitely on a quest to find the best cream blush out there, I’ve bought so many in the past few months and this elf one looked so good. It took me a while because this shade was sold out for months but I finally have it and now I can tell you everything about it. It comes in a plastic pot like a cream, it’s not the most sanitary packaging but it feels very nice and fancy. On the cardbox you can read the shade name but on the pot it’s so so tiny I hadn’t noticed it until my frient Simone pointed it out. The formula is quite soft and smooth, it has a light– medium pigmentation. You definitely have to build up the colour which as I said in the past is my personal preference with face products. It isn’t streaky or clumpy, it doesn’t enhance pores or texture and I like it both on top of powder or underneath. I use a stippling brush that’s not too dense and it’s very easy to use. You can use your fingers but I find I have more control with the brush. On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade which is awesome for a cream. This blush is stunning, it looks like you are naturally flushed, I prefer when blushes are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the clown effect but that’s ever more true with creams. The colour is perfect for every day and it will look good with any kind of look. I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question. This does not in any way affect the price you pay for the item, and absolutely does not influence my choice of items to show you. From creams and powders to oils and liquids, blush is all the rage right now - especially on TikTok, where new application techniques, tips, and hacks (including the now-viral "W" blush trick) have been popping up all over people's FYPs. Fortunately, some of the best blushes, including several TikTok-approved picks, can be found at your local drugstore for under $20 apiece. Keep in mind that the best drugstore blushes are those that boast weightless, blendable, and pigmented formulas, says New York City-based makeup artist Alexa Persico. What's more, to truly test how pigmented the product is, Persico recommends applying the blush to your hand. "If it's rich in color and vibrant on the hand, then you know you have a good product," she explains. To determine which blush formula is best for you, it's important to consider your skin type. For example, people with dry skin - or those looking for a dewy finish - may opt for a liquid or cream blush, the latter of which are known for their emollient properties. According to Los Angeles-based makeup artist Dakota Alexandra, cream blushes are also great for beginners since they're typically easier to blend out when compared to liquid blushes. Powder blushes are another great option since they tend to have more staying power. "I love to lightly dust them over my cream or liquid product to emphasize the pigment and set the product," Alexandra tells Allure.īest of all, there's a drugstore blush for every skin tone thanks to the wide array of shades available to shop both in-store and online.
